We got our first real pet last month. Everyone warned us about the aggravation, etc. of dog ownership. I've got to tell you that after having 3 kids a dog is not an overwhelming responsibility. She fits in quite well, a definite compliment to our family and the cheapest security system available. She was well behaved the first couple of weeks. I do admit however, that in the past week she busted a hole in a screen window, jumped out said window (one story) chasing after my wife who went for a walk. She's chewed up a brand new soccer ball, ping pong paddle, and has started to get in to the trash. Is this going to get worse?
