I fell in love with a beer a few months back made by Lefthand Brewing Co. called Sawtooth ale. Turns out the style is "Extra Special Bitter" or ESB. Today, I thought I'd try out our local microbrew's version and it's equally delicious. Don't let the "bitter" part of the title fool you- this excellent style of beer is in no way sour, in fact it's a nice change of pace from your summer lagers and ales. I also picked up some of Schlafly's Octoberfest, let's hope it's equally tasty.
