Happy Halloween and Happy Anniversary to my wonderful wife Michaela.
Thank you for 7 excellent years!

This Halloween my wife and I celebrate 7 years of marriage- the most interesting seven years of my life, without a doubt. We're staying HERE and I'm looking forward to it very much, excited about the excursion (and that's rare). I love the bar at this place, if you've never been- you should stop by and have a beer. I hope the accommodations are equally excellent.

We got our first real pet last month. Everyone warned us about the aggravation, etc. of dog ownership. I've got to tell you that after having 3 kids a dog is not an overwhelming responsibility. She fits in quite well, a definite compliment to our family and the cheapest security system available. She was well behaved the first couple of weeks. I do admit however, that in the past week she busted a hole in a screen window, jumped out said window (one story) chasing after my wife who went for a walk. She's chewed up a brand new soccer ball, ping pong paddle, and has started to get in to the trash. Is this going to get worse?

I turn 31 today. Believe it or not, this past year may have been the best one yet - accomplished many things: picked up racquetball, polished my web design skills, made peace with my immediate family and started a small war with my extended family. We got a dog and a new game system, two things I haven't owned since I was a kid. I overcame a phobia of dentists, did usual home improvements and got the kids enrolled in acceptable schools. Tonight we celebrate at Happy Joe's Pizza! Instead of getting me the expensive pair of slippers I've been asking for, why don't you donate a few bucks to a good cause: The American Cancer Society. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!

After unsuccessfully rolling out a new logo, the Gap has reverted back to their old design, read more here. I think it's pretty obvious that this may have been a publicity tactic to drive traffic to their website, stores, etc. Makes me wonder if this is an annual ploy, remembering the controversial "Happy Whateveryouwannakah" ad from last year. I'd say boycott Gap for being sneaky, but I'd be a hypocrite as I'm currently wearing a pair of their comfy khakis.

I added some social media buttons to my website The Logo-Mat.com today, linking the site to my Facebook, Twitter & this Blog. This got me thinking: I need to integrate them all better. The website (which has been lucrative for the past 4 years) presents itself & me as more of a business, more of a "how can we help" mentality. All of my social media sites are promoted as just me. The Logo-Mat the dude, not the business. Now normally I'd ask these questions to a select few via email- but I thought I'd throw it on here to see if I can get any feedback. So, how can I integrate my site, blog, Twitter & Facebook better? Should I shoot for the "one man show" feel for the website, even though it has worked well as-is?
